The Magical Legacy of Livraria Lello

Livraria Lello, also known as Lello Bookstore, is a renowned bookstore located in Porto, Portugal. It is considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world and a major cultural attraction in the city.

Livraria Lello was opened in 1906 and is housed in a magnificent neo-Gothic building. Its stunning façade features intricate stonework and a prominent Art Nouveau-style glass window.

The bookstore’s design is said to have influenced J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, during her time living in Porto. The bookstore’s ambiance and aesthetics bear similarities to the descriptions of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Rowling’s books.
